ACES 2018 is a small, international, peer-reviewed conference with a limited number of oral and poster presentation time slots. We encourage all interested participants to submit abstracts as early as possible. In addition to this conference participants will have an opportunity to visit Hiroshima Peace Park and the famous shrine island of Miyajima — both Peace Park and Miyajima are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

This symposium was made possible by INTESDA, The International Education for Sustainable Development Alliance, which is a diverse community of educators, academics and nonprofit professionals founded in 2015, in part, to support the Sustainable Development Global Goals set by the United Nations. It is committed to addressing sustainable development issues through capacity building, advocacy, networking and sharing knowledge. Finally, on behalf of our team, we would like to extend our deepest thanks to the people of Hiroshima, Japan for their support and gracious hospitality.
