COPHA 2018 is being held in partnership with the 2nd Asian Symposium on Health Informatics and Nursing Education (SHINE 2018) and the 3rd Asian Conference on Urban Planning and Sustainable Cities (UP-City 2018). In addition to this conference participants will have an opportunity to visit Hiroshima Peace Park and the famous shrine island of Miyajima — both Peace Park and Miyajima are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

This is a small, international, peer-reviewed conference with a limited number of oral and poster presentation time slots. We encourage all interested participants to submit presentations as early as possible. Please note that submissions and registration will close when the event has reached its capacity.

This symposium was made possible by INTESDA, The International Education for Sustainable Development Alliance, which is a diverse community of educators, academics and nonprofit professionals founded in 2015, in part, to support the Sustainable Development Global Goals set by the United Nations. It is committed to addressing sustainable development issues through capacity building, advocacy, networking and sharing knowledge.

Finally, on behalf of our team, we would like to extend our deepest thanks to the people of Hiroshima, Japan for their support and gracious hospitality.
