AST4D 2019 Welcome

Welcome to the 3rd Asian Symposium on Sustainable Tourism for Development (AST4D 2019). This symposium is a special event held on Friday and Saturday, March 22-23, 2019 at the Mitsui Garden Hotel in Hiroshima, Japan. AST4D 2019 international, peer-reviewed event will be held in partnership with the  the 6th Asian Symposium on Education, Equity and Social Justice (EQUIS 2019) and the 3rd International Symposium on Strengthening Peace through Education (ISPED 2019).

AST4D 2019 will be held in late March, when the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom. It is also an excellent season for travel in Hiroshima with comfortable weather and ideal for visiting sites around Hiroshima, including its two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Peace Park and the Shrine Island of Miyajima (Itsukushima).
